What is the Sueño Americano Foundation?
We are a HUD-approved nonprofit home-ownership counseling organization, the Latino division of HomeFree-USA. Our innovative and unique group is dedicated to helping prospective buyers gain access to home ownership. We bring resources, knowledge, strategic partnerships and tested methods to put you on the path to owning your own home.
Who do we serve?
Our members are people who may be unable to buy a home on their own because of inexperience with the real estate and financial markets. We help overcome the obstacles to successful home ownership with home-buyer education classes, workshops and other programs to prepare you for mortgage approval and lifelong financial stability.
How we work
We partner with HomeFree-USA, a national home buyers’ educational nonprofit to provide services tailored to each member’s financial needs to prepare for home ownership and teach financial management skills. Our goal is to make the mortgage, home buying and refinancing process easier for you. Our programs give you the confidence you need to buy a home.
